People listen with their eyes and not their ears. We’ve heard all the promises, plans and predictions…congratulations on running an exciting and inspiring campaign, but now, as you know, is where the rubber meets the road.
People will now be more tuned into what you do and less of what you say. It is a tremendous task that you have agreed to undertake, but, as testament of the election, the people believe in you, what you stand for and what you say you will do.
Morale filters down, it never filters up! What you do from this day on will be the test of your commitment to ethics reform in government.
